At altitude in Nuwara Eliya, pool design has to account for cooler year-round temperatures. This project pairs a heat-pump system with a wind-sheltered sunken terrace so the pool is genuinely usable in every season.
A dark mineral finish was selected to absorb daytime warmth and give the water a still, reflective quality in the hill-country light.
